Direct Care Professionals
This is an exciting opportunity to help create a welcoming, supportive home where clients can build independence, strengthen daily living skills, connect with their community, and work toward their personal goals. - Teach and reinforce skills such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, shopping, transportation, and appointment management.
- Help clients participate in employment, education, recreation, relationships, and community activities.
- Follow each client’s individualized service plan while adapting support to their needs and abilities.
- Encourage clients to make informed choices, advocate for themselves, and become increasingly independent.
- Respond calmly and appropriately when clients are experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges.
- Maintain a safe, clean, respectful, and home-like environment.
- Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
- Communicate and collaborate with clients, families, case managers, coworkers, and other members of the support team.
